Take a pleasant relaxing walk around the city center. Kiev's best sights are located close to each other in the historical center and are best experienced by walk on foot. During this short excursion you will see with your own eyes most of the famous places of interest, whose images are used to represent Kiev on cards and calendars:

Kiev is often refered to as a garden in bloom, for good reason:

there are two botanical gardens in Kiev and if you and your lady like the outdoors and enjoy seeing beautiful flower arrangements, this excursion should be on your list. What can be more romantic than a walk hand in hand among the charming lilac trees and flowering bushes, observing the beauty of nature and the fragrance of flowering lilacs and magnolias?

There are more than twenty parks in Kiev whose cool shady places look especially welcoming when it is hot outside. Nowadays it is especially important to feel the connection with nature, and to recharge your batteries the best way is to go to the park or to the botanical garden, even if you are on a business trip.

One can write and read thousands words and stories but it will not be enough to describe the picture of kilometres of beautiful blooming lilac trees that gorgeously and serenely decorate the hillsides of the Dnieper River. Or the fragrance and beauty of the flowering magnolia trees…. this excursion is perfect in May but the rose gardens look gorgeous all summer long.

The Hydropark is definitely one of the best places to have summer-like rest, without leaving the city. Water attractions, numerous beaches, boat stations, and beautiful Ukrainian girls in bikins ;-) The Hydropark is always far from being boring!

Here you can ride horses in a picturesque park area and have a snack in nice and cozy restaurant.

The Hydropark is situated on several small islands. The biggest is Truhanov island. This place was organized in 1960 and can accommodate up to 75 thousand people at once.

On hydropark territory except beaches and other water attractions, including boats and restaurants, casinos, you can find many bars and night spots. Dancing is the best and most natural way of receiving positive emotions!

There are also opportunities for sport- volleyball, tennis, ping-pong, paintball, football.

In the Hydropark there is an open-air museum called “Kiev in miniature”. You can unite these excursions and make it a full day exciting trip!

If you are interested in history and always ready to expand your horizons, The Museum of World War II is a right place for you.

This museum will be especially fascinating for men of all ages. While it is on the "wow" list for gentlemen, ladies usually are not that excited;-) But even women are not able to stand against an opportunity to go inside the helicopters or fighter aircraft.

The museum's exhibition is devoted to the Second World War, with the dominating Ukrainian theme, contribution of Ukraine in the victory over nazism. The central part of the museum is The Motherland monument; this lady is seen far away and you will see it from the air; she usually greets you even from far away.

And starting this year you can go inside the monument and go as high as you dare to.

Mamajeva Sloboda is a museum / historical complex that will help you to feel the Cozack spirit. It is situated within city limits. It is the Cozaks settlement of 17^th-18^th century rebuilt in every detail! There is no place like this anywhere else in Ukraine.
