When we call our female clients to tell them that they have a letter or received an interest from a man, they always ask, please, tell me what is written in his profile.

Not how he looks like or where he is from, WHAT HE HAS WRITTEN ABOUT HIMSELF.

 

Why? For Ukrainian women, the man’s personality is of great importance.  

 

On our site we use a simple form of questionnaire –age, country, height, weight, education, body type along with essays - About me, My interests, About a person I am looking for, I imagine an ideal relationship as, I imagine a perfect date as. These last ones are the most important and it is very important for you to fill in these items.

 

Believe it or not, your profile is as important as your picture. And women do actually read them.

 

When writing your personal ad, please keep the following in mind:

 

1. Size. Short or missing entries or excessively wordy answers give the impression that you are not looking for a serious relationship. Typically, 150-250 words is perfect.

 

2. Do not use long lists of adjectives. If you are thinking of saying that you are romantic, instead write something like a description, where you will take your beloved woman on your honeymoon. Instead of saying that you are funny, tell a story that will make her laugh.

Try to spread out the adjectives of your character. Always remember that you are unique and worthy of finding love, just as you are.

 

3. Specify your hobbies. If you like theatre, tell that you have an annual booking for all plays in local theatre. If you favourite music group is Queen you can say that in your youth you have spend all last money for the precious album or you were standing in a line to receive an autograph of your favourite modern writer.

 

4. Be truthful. It is very easy, even with the best of intentions, in putting a positive spin on yourself, to accidentally create a misleading impression. Stand back and be mindful of the impression you are creating, and above all that this is the real you. Remember to add details that are important – like you have three children. Keep more personal details like the names of the children for the later personal correspondence.

 

5. Be positive and fun. If you are not over a past relationship, or depressed or angry, wait until you will calm down. Positive energy is attractive.

 

7. In our questionnaire we used the word “Imagine”… Be free, let you imagination spread out.

 

Talking in real life and on paper is the same. She is reading your words on paper, exactly as if you are speaking directly to her, which you are.
